Calligraphy is the most iconic symbol
of Chinese traditional culture and art in 5000 years. It is an art form that
USES a brush to write Chinese characters and has an aesthetic inertia.
Calligraphy is one of the "fourth religion" of China, has a strong sense of
attraction, rituals and mass participation, therefore, there are more than five
thousand years, illuminating as heavenly galaxy representative of different

In ancient times, Japanese people
called calligraphy [entering the wooden path] or [writing] until the edo period

characters, which should be followed by Buddhism. Monks and buddhists imitated
China and transcribing scriptures in Chinese calligraphy, and Chinese

masterpiece of Chinese calligraphy style influenced by the six dynasties period.
When the Japanese emperor taizu of Japan returned to China from China, he
brought back calligraphy works from wang xizhi of the eastern jin dynasty and

The exchanges between Chinese and
Japanese calligraphers have been continuous. In 1958, a delegation headed by
Japan's famous calligrapher, feng daochun, visited China for the first time.
Since 1973, the all-japan book league has sent a delegation of Japanese
